Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic technology designed to liberate your human potential. Called the “mother of all yogas,” it works the entire nervous and glandular systems. It prepares the mind for optimal clarity and functioning. It heightens your sense of consciousness and spirit. The goal of yoga is to awaken your potential to live a creative, fulfilled, and conscious life. That potential in you is known as “Kundalini.”
COURSES
The Inner Workout: A 6 week series working the body’s inner systems: nervous, circulatory, digestive, immune, & lymphatic systems. Class includes breath and mantra meditation. (Yes, you will sweat!)
Stress-Less: A 4 week series to reduce stress through specifically designed yogic practices that free your life by giving you the tools to handle both everyday stress and the stress of trauma.
Aah! Bliss! Experience this 4 week series and find yourself in a state of total bliss. Through the mindful magic of Kundalini yoga and meditation you will open your higher centers focusing on the 6th and 7th chakras, the centers of inner knowing and connection with the infinite. You will feel the boundlessness of your own infinity and bask in subtle awareness.
Spring Cleanse A 4 part series to detoxify, focusing on the metabolism, liver, lymphatic system and colon, through the science and technology of Kundalini Yoga. As we move into Spring the energy of the Earth is lighter and warmer, to help our bodies adjust to this change, it’s important to cleanse our systems related to the apana energy of elimination. Participants should be moderately fit.
Beginners Kundalini Learn the foundations of Kundalini Yoga. This course introduces the student to Kriya, breath, mantra, mudra, body locks or bhandas, and meditation. The philosophy of Kundalini Yoga is introduced. The class is not as physically demanding as the All Levels class.
All levels Kundalini Class consists of warm-up postures, a kriya or group of exercises designed to achieve a specific purpose, meditation and deep relaxation. This class requires a moderate amount of strength and flexibility.
Meditation Focus on breath, mantra chanting, and transcendental meditation, to experience a state of tranquility and awareness to carry-over into your daily life. In each class you begin with a few minutes of yoga stretching to prepare the body for sitting. Several different Kundalini Meditations are taught in each class as students are introduced to the basics of Kundalini Meditaion. Meditation is followed by deep relaxation.
Breathwalk - A course on walking meditation. Take your yoga outside! Class meets out of doors at beautiful walking locations in the greater Portland area. Breathwalk practice heightens your sensations resulting in total awareness. You must pre-register for this class to get directions.
Gong Bath is a deep relaxation to the sounds of the symphonic gong. The gong transports you to a trance like space and penetrates your being at a cellular level to release negativity from the subconscious. Relax and repattern for stress release and to boost the immune system. It's ahhhh-mazing!
Advanced Meditation
For the experienced meditator or the adventuresome. Kundalini Yoga meditation employs a variety of breath patterns, mantra, mudra, body locks, and more. Donations benefit “Yoga for Youth” a program bringing yoga to inner city children.
Sat Nam Rasayan Healing Sat Nam Rasayan is a transcendental healing technique that promotes healing through the subtle body. It is calming, relaxing, gently powerful, and transformational.
Family Yoga
An interactive, fun and imaginative class for Mom, Dad, and kids age 11 and under.
WORKSHOPS
Prosperity - Learn to use the keys of Kundalini yoga to unlock limitations, open to and welcome opportunity resulting in prosperity throughout your life on many levels: home, health, wealth and relationships.
Sleep Like a Baby---zzzzzzzzzz - Yoga technology specifically teaches how to detoxify the body and meditate to calm the mind to bring refreshing sleep. Coupled with the principals of Ayurveda natural rhythms, the workshop gives you tools to bring yourself to a place of deep, restful sleep. If you have trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep, don't miss this workshop.
Partner Yoga - Doing yoga with a partner enhances your practice by taking you more deeply within yourself to experience your connection with the infinite. You do not need to come with a partner to participate in this workshop.
